Press Releases
Senator Bob Robbins has co-sponsored legislation to set up an independent, non-partisan, bi-cameral agency known as the Legislative Fiscal Office to provide the legislature with the means to do revenue estimates, separate from the Governor's.  This estimate would give the Legislature an efficient, timely starting point for negotiations and expedite the budget process, thus preventing the Governor from holding Pennsylvania's state workers hostage and trying to force tax increases.

It would also set up a performance evaluation program to help guarantee that our tax dollars are spent wisely.
